Lovers Last Lament 2 Comments
and 'lo the romance which was once rose red.
it hath fallen unto the floor cold and dead.
and oh how the lady she screamed.
her lover fallen within a dream.
caught amidst the angels of death.
the handsome young man took his last gasping breath.
and later, off the cliff his lady flew.
to meld within the oceans salty brew.
amongst the heavens now the two of them soar.
the pain of life a forgotten lore.
and eternally their souls shall twist.
within the clouds concealing mist
